Autumn is here! Let the music play
For this year’s autumn season we’ve worked again with Music Creator and Palma resident Michael e who last year created 4 playlists for us, for Spring, Summer, Autumn & Winter.
Featuring an eclectic selection of music to relax and chill you out. The selection opens with a track called ‘California Soil’ and includes another 27 beautiful tracks.
Micheal e says: “This mix leans heavily on tracks from Cafe Del Mar and of course José Padilla, known as the spiritual father of Chill-out who passed away earlier this month. .The compilations that José put together for Café Del Mar were a big influence on my creative sensibilities. The compilations included artists I’d never heard of but the music always spoke to me profoundly. I can’t thank him enough for opening up a whole new world of music to me, that man had ‘ears’. He’s left an incredible legacy and he’s touched many people across the globe.
The music in this mix includes some of my favourite cuts but there are so many more I could have included. I know fans of Café del Mar will listen to these tracks and the music will stir memories and remind them of good times and bad. José’s selections became the soundtrack to people’s lives. Thank you José, for your influence and inspiration which lives on”.
