One Beach in Mallorca Listed in 13 Most Photogenic Beaches in the World

Cala Deia Beach on Mallorca’s west coast has been listed as one of the most photogenic beaches in the world by Reader’s digest magazine.

The U.S.A. based monthly magazine Reader’s digest was first published in 1922 and used condensed articles of topical interest and entertainment value. Today, nearly 100 years later, RD.com is now a multi platform publication. Their current Mission Statement clearly shows their aspirations: “Reader’s digest offers a unique stream of advice, stories, humor, and user-generated content that connects on a personal level with a rapidly growing audience of readers. Why? Because our content has the unusual power to inspire, inform and entertain across multiple generations, reinforce optimism and belief in the human spirit, communicate plainly but intelligently and help people get healthier, smarter and happier.”

About Cala Deia in Mallorca they said: “Beneath villas built into the cliffs on the west coast of Mallorca, Cala Deia feels like your own private slice of heaven, featuring clear waters and rock pools. You can reach the beach by car, where there is a small parking lot. You can also park in the village of Deia and walk down the road.”

The article also featured the nearby luxurious hotel, Belmond La Residencia, the waterside restaurant Ca’s Patro March, well known for serving fish caught that morning by the local fishermen, plus the plentiful opportunities to snorkel, dive, kayak and climb in the area.
