There are blogs and then there are great blogs. ‘Estilo Palma’ is one of them.

There are blogs and there are great blogs, there are bloggers and then there are great bloggers and sometimes it’s only right that they earn the kudos that they deserve.

Katrin, a German resident of Palma de Mallorca, writes her posts for publication in her ‘digital magazine’ Estilo Palma. The fact that she also writes these posts in English is an added benefit for those of us who don’t speak German fluently.  Her husband, Martin, is the man behind the camera and is responsible for the photography.

Katrin and Martin are admittedly our friends and you could say we are bias, but they deserve the credit that they are due for having reached the 7th anniversary of Estilo Palma at the end of last month. To celebrate that landmark they have published a new post entitled “The seven-year itch” telling a little bit about their story so far, as well as their hopes for the future.

When living on an island such as Mallorca blogs such as Katrin’s can become an invaluable and insightful, regular source of information and stories. They are not writing for one of the free ‘rags’ that are left outside shop doorways, they are writing from the heart about, as Katrin says, “the things that we like”.
