Mallorca Selected as Wine Lovers Beach Destination
Wine Enthusiast Magazine has this month selected Mallorca as one of it’s 4 destinations for “Wine Lovers Beach Destinations”.
They say: “Its turquoise waters and wild beaches, backed by pine forests and mountains, still dazzle”
From indigenous grape recommendation to wineries, from 5 star hotels to great Michelin starred restaurants.
Five Mallorcan Wineries are recommended worth a visit: Ànima Negra, Bodega Ribas, Mesquida Mora (photo above), Bodegas Macià Batle and Castell Miquel. Here at these vineyards you can spend time amongst the vines made from indigenous grapes like Giró Blanc, Prensal Blanc and Manto Negro.
For restaurants and wine bars with great wine lists, tapas and much more they suggest trying La Cabana Pool Bar Lounge at the Portals Hills Boutique Hotel, the one Michelin star Marc Fosh Restaurant set inside Hotel Convent de la Missió (photo below), Restaurant Santi Taura in Lloseta, the local group Tast with several venues and the two star Michelin restaurant Zaranda set inside Hotel Castell Son Claret in Es Capdellà.
The other three selected international beach destinations are Bali in Indonesia, The South Fork of Long Island, New York and Martinique.
