Mallorca Named 1 of 12 Best Islands for Retirement

The island of Mallorca has been named as one of the best islands to retire to by Travel + Leisure.

They Say: “When defining anything as “the best,” retirement destinations included, it’s necessary to understand the criteria along with considerations of personal needs and tastes. To some, the best is the most luxurious and indulgent regardless of price. To others, the best means value — getting the most for bang for your buck. The best climate, scenery, location, health care, and things to do also come into the picture.”

Other islands included in the list”Best 12″ are: Malta, Puerto Rico, Isla Mujeres in Mexico, San Juan Island Washington, Barbados, Big Island of Hawaii, Penang, U.S. Virgin Islands, Dominican Republic, Anguilla and the Turks & Caicos.
