Mallorca Island & Hotel rated among the Best in the World
The Spanish island of Mallorca and one of it’s hotels were rated among the best in the world, after 300,000 readers of leading travel magazine “Condé Nast Traveler” were polled in the annual “2016 Readers’ Choice Award”.
Mallorca was third in the list of twenty best islands and according to the travel publication:
“Generations of Europeans have been flocking to the Spanish isle every summer but Mallorca still exhibits a laid-back charm. You’ll find classic Mediterranean blue waters, stunning mountain views, and winding cobble-stoned streets, depending on which type of vacation you take.”
Sant Francesc Hotel Singular in Palma was the only hotel in Spain listed in the top fifty hotels in the world.
“Located inside a restored 19th-century mansion in the center of Mallorca, this historic hotel has just about everything going for it, from its romantic, spare design—see the black-and-white marble checkered floors in the lobby—to the simple, free-standing porcelain bathtubs in the guest rooms. Enviable extras include a well-lit rooftop terrace and pool, perfect for an evening dip.”
