Welcome to a 360° Tour of Richard Roper’s Villa at La Fortaleza, Mallorca

The Night Manager, a £30m BBC blockbuster, based on the 1993 novel of the same name by John le Carré, starred Tom Hiddleston, Hugh Laurie and Olivia Colman. The series was the priciest drama per episode of any commissioned by a UK broadcaster and was made in conjunction with AMC who distribute The Night Manager in the U.S.A.

With 12 nominations and two winners at the recent Emmy awards, the series has been lauded for many aspects including the location filming in Mallorca.

La Fortaleza, Roper’s lair in the series, is a former fortress dating back four centuries bought by Lord Lupton for €40 million some five years ago. It is situated on the headland at the top end of Port de Pollença.

The old adage attributed to Lord Harold Samuel, a British real estate tycoon, that “the three things that matter in property are: Location, Location, Location” is certainly a qualifying feature for this property don’t you think?
