John Lewis is the UK’s largest multi-channel retailer, with 39 John Lewis shops and johnlewis.com, their growing online business. They’re a different sort of company, as each member of staff is a Partner in the business. They’re the largest example of worker co-ownership in the UK, and each year they share their profits with each of their Partners in the form of an annual bonus.
John Lewis deliver to 38 countries and now you can pay in either GBP or your local currency. Delivery time is normally 4 – 7 working days and costs £7.50 per order.
They say: “We offer delivery of selected products from our website to international destinations. We’ll also be gradually adding products available to export, so the choice will be increasing all the time and it’s worth checking the site regularly for changes to products and countries served. Please be aware though, that for logistical and legal reasons, not everything we sell is eligible for international delivery; electrical products are one example.
A list of exclusions can be found here.
